Bridgeton Police Blotter - Assault on police; theft; and obstruction of justice
BRIDGETON
* Jay C. Hall Jr., 38, of Spruce Street, was arrested Thursday night on the charges of aggravated assault on police, hindering apprehension, resisting arrest by flight and resisting arrest by force. He was lodged in Cumberland County Jail on $20,000 bail.
Arrested along with Hall in the area of Spruce Street and Fremont Avenue was David I. Lovely, 31, of Maple Drive, who was served a failure to appear warrant and charged with hindering apprehension and obstruction of justice.
Lovely was lodged in the county jail on $2,283 bail.
* A York Street resident reported Thursday night that someone broke into her home and stole three gold rings and $280.
The rings are described as pearl and gold, onyx and gold, and diamond and white gold. They are valued at a total of $750.
It is believed the burglar(s) entered the home through a second-floor window.
