    Montclair State University student accused of witness tampering in dorm fire

    MONTCLAIR — A Montclair State University student has been charged with witness tampering in connection with a small fire in a dormitory at the northern New Jersey school. University spokeswoman Paula Maliandi said today that Lauren Shinn, a 19-year-old Dumont resident, was freed after posting $25,000 bail.
