Group headed by Washington Township resident hosts sale to raise money for breast cancer walk

A county group raising money to walk in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure is putting a fashionable twist on breast cancer research support. Jersey J-Walkers for the Cure, headed by Washington Township resident Joanne Harrington, will host “Couture for the Cure” on Sunday, March 21. The fundraiser will help women in the area get rid of bridal, cocktail and proms gowns cluttering their closets, and the dresses will be sold at drastically reduced prices at Salon Christopher in Washington Township.
