On Tuesday, it's your choice
For the past few weeks, most of this page has been given over to readers' letters, primarily commenting on Tuesday's election.
It is healthy to hear from writers who have genuine concerns about who will serve them in public office, especially in a gubernatorial race with three major candidates and the first-time election of a lieutenant governor in our state.
Within the constraints of deadlines, space and good taste, the Times has tried to let as many letter writers as possible have their say.
If the elections motivated you to write for the first time, we hope you'll write again whenever you have something to say. The Times will still try to get as many of your views on this page as we can. We are, after all, a local paper.
Of course, you still have one last chance to get your say on the election. Polls will be open Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and voting is an even better way to make your opinion known than putting a letter in the paper. In the voting booth, no editor can censor your views, put an inaccurate headline over them or make them fit a limited amount of space.
As always, the choices are yours. And, as a recap of the endorsements in this space, here are ours:

For Assembly, 3rd District: John J. Burzichelli, incumbent Democrat; Robert Villare, Republican.
For Assembly, 4th District: Paul Moriarty (incumbent) and William Collins, Democrats.
For Assembly, 5th District: Stepfanie Velez-Gentry, Republican; Angel Fuentes, Democrat.
For Gloucester County freeholder: Robert M. Damminger and Joe Chila, incumbent Democrats.
For Gloucester County sheriff: Carmel M. Morina, incumbent Democrat.
